French Canadian entrepreneur, industry pioneer, highly regarded marketing expert, and a man who has surpassed new heights of commercial and financial success, are just a few ways people have described Alain Lord Mounir. Over the last decade, Alain evolved from one of the most successful Wine & Spirits industry icons of his generation, to one of the most sought after branding experts, business and motivational speakers.

 

He is the Founder and Charmain of Vitamine C, a venture capital and equity firm based in

Hong Kong. He currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Julia Wine Group.

He's opinionated and ruthless, strives for big deals and also has a passion for all legal aspects

in business; from branding to trademarking and copywriting.

 

Alain travels between his permanent home in the suburb of Montreal and his equity firm in

Hong Kong. He loves crossbow hunting, fishing, downhill skiing and motorsports. And of course,

he is a passionate wine collector.

DAVE JACOMBS

Dave Jacombs started his racing career around the short tracks of Ontario, New York and Michigan in a Vintage Modified. In 1994, he moved to the CASCAR Super Series competing at venues across Canada from Vancouver to Halifax.

 

In 2006, Dave retired as a driver. The following year, NASCAR purchased CASCAR and Dave built his race team into championship form - winning two NASCAR Canadian Tire Series crowns with driver Andrew Ranger. The Dave Jacombs Team has accumulated 18 wins and 16 pole positions

in the NASCAR Series, an accomplishment not matched by many teams.

 

Dave has prepared NASCAR cars for champion drivers from all forms of motorsport including, Jacques Villeneuve, Patrick Carpentier, Alex Tagliani and Miguel Duhamel.

 

RANDY SMITH

Randy started his racing career in 1981 at the local dirt tracks in Southern Ontario. The first car

he built was a 1978 Chev to compete in the Street Stock Division at Merrittville and Humberstone Speedways. In 1984, he moved up to Pro Stock and competed at Merrittville, Humberstone, Ransomville and Perry Speedways. In 1992, Randy stepped up to Pro Modified where he raced

at Oshweken, Merrittville and Humberstone Speedways. In his final few years as a driver,

he competed in the Sportsman Series at Oshweken, Merrittville and Humberstone Speedways.

 

All the cars that Randy competed with were built by himself and maintained by himself. Over

the years he raced, he amassed quite an impressive resume; 45 Feature wins, 66 Heat wins, 2-time most popular driver, 4-points championships and 2-time Canadian Champion.

 

In 2007, Randy was able to turn his passion into a career. Randy’s vast knowledge of building race cars has been a tremendous asset to the team.

 

RON EASTON

Ron started his racing career in 1983 in the Canadian Vintage Modified Series, where he competed at tracks in Ontario and Michigan.  In 1997, he teamed up with Keith Barton and raced a NASCAR Modified at Lancaster Speedway in New York.

 

In 2003, Ron decided to go back to the Canadian Vintage Modified Series so he built a brand new car and that same year won the most feature races.

 

Ron has been very successful in his racing career, accumulating many awards such as Best Engineered Car Award, multiple Best Workmanship awards, most consecutive races won (11), Flamboro Speedway points champion, plus 48 Feature wins, 81 Heat wins and has been in the top 10 in points 14 times.

 

Ron has built and worked on many championship race cars and he is now embarking on a new career in racing - Technical Director for the #32 Can-Am Ford driven by Alex Labbe. With his many years of experience and expertise in designing and building race cars, he will be a big asset to the team competing for the championship in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
